Meet the Team

Mathew Major

Matthew Major Mathew Major has over twenty five years experience in the waste management, recycling and data destruction industries. He is well known for his views on the industry and is founder member of NAID UK, the Nationwide association for Information Destruction, which has since merged with the BSIA, the British Security Industry Association, Information Destruction - click here to view BSIA website

Matt continues to make contributions to the betterment of the industry and was a co-author of the new British Standard on the destruction of confidential information, which is due for issue in the Summer of 2006.

Living in Sussex means that Matt is well placed to visit the many clients of Nordic Recycling and Papersafe UK right across the South East, and when not at work he is perhaps better-known as a supporter of local football in Sussex.

Michael Strudwick

Mike Strudwick first entered the world of data destruction in 1991, when he worked alongside Mathew Major in shredding facility in Brighton, East Sussex.

Mike joined Matt at Papersafe UK in 1999, and since then he has been responsible for the operational side of things. Mike’s current duties include the organisation of the collection and destruction of confidential materials, as well as duties surrounding Papersafe UK’s archiving service and facility.

Outside of work Mike too enjoys football, but likes nothing better than days out with his young family.

Nina Halls

Nina first joined Nordic in 1996 and then transferred internally to Papersafe UK in 2000. Since then, Nina has supported operational matters such as the collection of confidential materials for data destruction. However, her primary role is more closely linked to the administration of box movements connected to the archive facility.

Nina is often the first port of call for any enquiry too and her helpful and cheerful manner has won her many supporters.
